How Our Network Works
Who Will I Actually Talk To?
Good question. You will talk to an independent pest control or wildlife provider in our network. This page has no staff profiles because Forcingvirginia Pest Control is a referral service. We connect you, and the provider handles the conversation and the work.
Providers are separate local businesses. Each one has its own people, tools and way of doing things. That's why it pays to ask questions.
What Happens on the First Conversation?
Expect a few simple questions. What are you seeing? Where in the house? How long has it been going on? Have you noticed droppings, chewed material, noises, mud tubes or bites?
The provider may suggest a visit to look around. Basements, crawl spaces, attics and the outside foundation are common places to check. After that, you can ask for an estimate and take your time deciding.
What Should I Ask a Provider?
A short list keeps you on track. Ask, then act.
- Are you licensed and insured for this type of work in Wisconsin?
- What exactly do you think is causing the problem?
- What will the treatment or removal involve, step by step?
- Will you give me a written quote, and what does it include?
- Are products safe around kids and pets, and what do I need to do before and after?
- Is a follow-up visit needed, and when?
- Does the work come with any written terms or warranty?
Bring Your Notes and Photos
Providers can work faster when you are organized. Take photos of damage, droppings, insects or gaps around pipes and doors. Write down dates and places. If you had treatment before, find the paperwork. If you plan to talk to your insurer about sudden damage, ask the provider whether they can help document it. Some policies may cover certain damage, so check your policy.
Think About the Season
Timing matters. Cold weather often sends rodents inside. Humid weather helps ants, roaches and crickets. Spring moisture can wake up termites. A provider may suggest a plan that fits the time of year, so ask what to do now and what to do next season.
You Are in Control
Talking to a provider does not mean you must hire one. Get a written quote. Compare if you like. Say no if it does not feel right. Costs vary a lot by the pest, the size of the home and the work needed, so a written estimate is your most useful tool.
